Bridal Preparations
Bridal prep started at Jade’s and Alex’s lovely 3 story home. I arrived nice and early 09:30 as I always do so all of the bridal part can get to know me before I start snapping away. I was offered an amazing coffee from Jade’s mum. For those who know me know. I love a good black coffee (No sugar) it doesn’t get simpler than that. Whilst that was going down a treat we all chatted about the big day to come.
Whilst the bridesmaids were getting their hair and makeup done. I gathered all of Jade’s Wedding items. Jewellery, shoes, perfume and of course her amazing dress! Just as I was about to snap the first photo her Flowers also arrived! Perfect timing!
Once Jade’s details were photographed it was time to move on to the ladies! They were all looking amazing and Jade was just getting her hair finished.
Just as Jade was about to get her make up done, her dad arrived dressed to impress in his Army uniform. What a pleasure this was to see.
Jade had her makeup done, she was looking amazing and it was time to get into that all important dress. Mum finished buttoning up her dress and we were now ready to make our way to Weston Hall.
I made my way to Weston Hall Wedding venue 10 minutes before the bridal party to ensure I got them arriving. On arrival I was met by the Weston hall team who were well underway getting all of the Wedding guests seated outdoors!
Wedding Ceremony
The Ceremony was held outdoors in Weston hall’s garden. The bridal party headed down the steps of Weston Hall’s main entrance and into the garden area. They were followed by Jade and her father where he handed her over to Alex.
The Ceremony was short but sweet with two amazing readings from the registrar that displayed Jade’s and Alex’s true funny personalities.
Post Ceremony
Jade knew exactly what she wanted when it came to her wedding photography. She sent me multiple images of what she wanted which I encourage so I know exactly what I need to do on a wedding day. One in particular was a picture of a couple with a llama. I admitted to Jade when we first met on her wedding day, that I thought she was a crazy bride with crazy ideas. Where the hell did she expect me to get a Llama from?
Well we got into the Wedding car, travelled 2 minutes down the road and what did we find? Yes!! You guessed it….. Llamas!!!!
Group Portraits
Weston hall has an amazing driveway that leads up to the front of the main entrance. This Is where did those all-important family formals. Close to the gardens where all of the guests were drinking and having canapés.

Speeches
Before those dreaded speeches dinner was served in the intimate dining/function room. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the food at Weston Hall and the company was even better. Jade and Alex had even made space for me on a table with some of their guests. It was 100% the fun table. After everyone was full it was time for the speeches!
Evening and couple portraits
Before the evening guests arrived we had a wonder around the grounds of Weston Hall. So much photo opportunity that did not disappoint. I Feel I'm very relaxed when I shoot the couple portraits. No cheesy lines, like “Say cheese”. We just have a walk, have a little fun and sometimes I get you to practise your first dance skills!
Supplier shout out!
It is safe to say that without all of the professional suppliers weddings as perfect as this would not happen. A big shout out to everyone involved!
